Mediterranean Garden was conceived as a contemporary mosaic artwork celebrating the colors, textures, and organic forms of coastal landscapes. The composition transforms botanical elements into a large-scale immersive visual experience.
Material Exploration
The artwork combines handcrafted ceramic tesserae in layered shades of navy, aqua, limestone, and terracotta. Variations in texture and tone create depth, movement, and a handcrafted character.
Each section of the mural was assembled by hand using individually placed ceramic tesserae. The process required careful color composition, material selection, and precise craftsmanship to achieve a seamless visual flow across the entire installation.
